MTC After School

Meet Amy, a passionate educator who hails from Brooklyn, New York, and has called Miami home for over two decades. With over 30 years of experience in teaching dance and theater, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in teaching musical theater and dance, incorporating social skills development and confidence building into her lessons. Now, Amy is excited to take on the After School Program at MTC, where she will continue to inspire and empower young minds through the magic of theater and dance.

Meet Jacob, MTC’s Musical Director for our Spring and Summer Camps as well as our After School Program. Jacob is a multifaceted media composer, and music director, earning his Bachelor of Music in Composition from Baldwin Wallace University and a Master of Music in Composition from Carnegie Mellon University, Jacob brings a wealth of musical expertise to his work. His career in professional musical theater includes roles as Assistant Music Director for Brandon Bush (of Train) and performances at prestigious venues like the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Rehearsals take place throughout the year; participants will have the incredible opportunity to star in a musical theater production that will be showcased on the prestigious MTC main stage. AGE RANGE: 8 to 15-years-old

DAYS OF THE WEEK: Mondays & Wednesdays (participants must commit to full to both rehearsal days)

TIME: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

  • Invited Dress Rehearsal May 13th, 2025

FEE: $2,700 (tution is non refundable after the 1st week of program commencing)
